Coach your development team to work more, better, and in less time

Overview:
It is a big challenge to motivate people to work their hardest and to consistently do superior work, but it can also be very satisfying. When teams are excited about their work, they create better products in less time. Such teams are more productive, they do better work, and have more fun. The coach's job is to help their teams have a truly rewarding team experience. In this sample chapter from TSP (SM): Coaching Development Teams, study the nature of coaching, why coaching teams is so rewarding, and some things to think about as you coach development teams. Chapter coverage includes:

  • Building understanding and motivation
  • Building a coaching team
