A total of nine set of security patches will be made available this time around, including six critical updates. Other than three critical fixes for Windows-related issues, there is one that is specific to Windows Vista. Fixes for Office, Internet Explorer, and Visual Basic development software are also included in the critical round-up.
Additionally, Microsoft has released information that less serious updates are also being readied:
- Four non-security, high-priority updates on Microsoft Update (MU) and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
- Two non-security, high-priority updates for Windows on Windows Update (WU) and Software Update Services (SUS)
Note that the above information does not include non-security updates released on other days.
